Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2024 Kia Telluride- Video

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2024 Kia Telluride, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Stealth Hitch 2-inch Hitch Receiver. Now, the biggest difference between the Stealth Hitch and all the other hitches out there on the market designed to fit the Kia Telluride is that the receiver tube is gonna be removable which is where it gets its name, the Stealth Hitch. It's gonna be stealthy, so that you remove the receiver tube, and you can't even tell you have the components that are behind this bumper. I will tell you right off the bat, there's two different kits available for this particular hitch and one is going to be the one we installed today, which is the rack receiver only, which is just your receiver tube that will accept your bike racks and cargo carriers. So if you have different accessories like maybe a flagpole, if you like tailgating, stuff like that, that is just for this receiver tube. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Kia Telluride- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Kia Telluride. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Kia and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're really gonna see is the receiver tube opening. Now it does obviously require a little bit of trimming for this, but it's a really clean look when installed. Now this is a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, which is kind of the standard when it comes to accessories. So when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, you're gonna have tons of options available. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Kia Carnival and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the etrailer Class III two inch hitch receiver. I have a couple of reasons of why you would want to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Carnival is because you wanna pull a trailer, you want to add a cargo carrier or a bike rack to be able to get those bikes to and from the trail. Many vans, a lot of 'em will have plenty of space in the back trunk area to be able to carry your gear and stuff like that when you're going on trips. But a lot of items like coolers are going to be more bulky and take up a lot of space. So adding a cargo carrier to the back is gonna allow you to carry those bulkier items on the outside and this hitch is gonna help you do that. more

Now the biggest reason why people will add a hitch receiver to their vehicle is typically, especially on the Kia Sportage, is typically to add an accessory, whether it's a bike rack, a cargo carrier, some other accessories. You can also add a ball mount to it and pull a small trailer. Now if you decide to go with that, or if that's why you're getting a hitch, you'll wanna get four pole wiring to go with it so you can safely let others know what you're doing by sending the lighting signals from your vehicle to your trailer. Today, we have four hitches from four different manufacturers that are all gonna work on the Kia. Now, right out the gate, one that really stands out as far as differentiating from the others is gonna be the Stealth Hitch, and the name, as it implies, is it makes it a little bit more stealthy. And when this is installed, this actually, you're able to remove the receiver block, and, now this is available in two different configurations. This is the receiver block portion, which is only gonna be used for bike racks or cargo carriers, and when not in use, you can actually remove this bottom part, make it into where you can't see anything underneath the vehicle unless this is popped back in place. more

Right here, this is gonna be the EcoHitch, this one will be the etrailer.com, and this one will be the Curt hitch, so what we're gonna do is kind of touch base on some of the differences and similarities that all these are gonna have. Usually what I like to do right off the bat is recommend the hitch that I would personally put on my own vehicle and a little bit why, but with these, it's kind of tricky because I feel like it's really going to depend on how you plan on using your hitch. With that said, the EcoHitch hands down is going to look the best appearance-wise, at least in my opinion. more

With the Telluride being a really stylish SUV, some people might not want to actually see a trailer hitch on the back of here and if maintaining that factory type appearance is really important to you, then that's where the stealth hitch is gonna come into play. So since the receiver tube is detachable, when you're not using it, this is how it's gonna look. You can't see a hitch back here at all, but whenever you are ready to use that accessory, you can take a receiver tube and attach it to the main body of the hitch and now you have an opening to work with. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Kia Sedona- Video

Hell neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2016 Kia Sedona. Now this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed and this is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see the cross section that attaches to the frame of the vehicle but overall it's tucked in there pretty well. So I think it gives it a pretty decent look overall. And the great part is this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening which is gonna be a great universal size for a ton of different accessories. So whether you're loading up bike racks, cargo carriers or even a ball mount, they're all gonna go in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this does not come with the hitch so a lot of your accessories will come with one. more
